Just another day of cleaning

I hate dislike cleaning but I like a clean house. Who doesn't?

So I made some rules for myself and I really try to follow them on a daily basis.

1. Wash or load the dishes right away
2. Remember that it takes only 5 minutes to unload the dishwasher
3. Make sure to completely clean the kitchen before going to bed
4. Designate a proper place for everything
5. Put everything back in its place in every room
6. Pick up stuff off the floor from everywhere
7. Keep the small spaces clean such as junk drawers
8. Keep the surfaces clutter free as much as I possibly can
9. Wash and fold clothes right away (The hardest to follow!)
10. Get the other family members involved!

Those are the rules I have made for myself and most days I follow them too! =)

Paint job!!

My oldest son's room is due for a new paint job. It's time for a change. Plus, the lesson to learn here is to use a primer - not once but twice if not thrice! Who knew the color would fade so fast to reveal the writings of the previous monsters of the room?! But no worries because it's always fun to work on kids stuff.

So here they are! Awesome rooms that inspire me to start working on my son's room asap!

I love the bright colors and simple design of this room!

My son has a car bed too so this one speaks to me with its pops of vibrant red color.

I am seeing lots of blue rooms so it would be a nice change from the green he has right now. We'll see what the master/messer of the room says.
